I can say it because if you're spending enough time and energy with the puppy, and he's stimulated other ways, then WHY would you need to put a puppy on a treadmill? Do you even know the breed standard for a rottie? I ask because you say "he's 65lbs and not fat" that's what people say who are inexperienced with the breed and think rotties are supposed to be a huge breed. Generally speaking, a rottie should be gaining 10lbs per month, so it seems like your puppy is either WAY overweight, or WAY out of standard. I can't see how a normal puppy owner, who spends so much time with their puppy, exercising, socializing etc. would think to force a puppy to walk or run on a treadmill. I'm not a big critic, I just care about rotties and dogs and when people don't have common sense about how to raise a PUPPY, then yes, it ircks me.
