Even though this is a four tissue post, I loved it most because of how you loved your dog. The respect you still have for your sweet boy is so evident and it was very generous of you to share this. I miss my heart dog so much and the anniversary of her death is in a few weeks. It will be 3yrs. I too remember every detail of her last days. I found comfort in knowing that I am not alone with my rottie memories. There must be this big beautiful place where our rotties gather to exchange thoughts on how much they are still loved and cherished. Sending you hugs.
