Reminder to everyone about the city council meeting in Monterey, Tennessee. The proposed pit bull ban is on the agenda for the council meeting this Monday, September 10, 2007. PLEASE, please try to attend if at all possible. There is no BSL in Putnam County, so let's keep it that way!

As you recall, Ward recently rejected BSL, however, Ward sits in Lonoke County which is looking at a county-wide pit bull ban. Apparently a Lonoke deputy was attacked by a "pit bull" this week, and it appears the deputy is now making a pit bull ban in Lonoke County his mission. So it would be a good idea to get another round of letters out to the officials of Lonoke.
