Re: Muzzle Laws?

I don't know of any. I would recommend contacting your alderperson and asking the question of him/her. If they don't know they should be able to get this information. If they say there is one than I would ask them to send you the link to the statute.

It was probably a comment of ignorance, but then again. When I relocated to WI I was staying w/ my parents till we closed on our house. I kept getting stopped by police when walking my dog and was told "you cannot walk that dog". The first time I laughed. The second time I got angry. Then I looked for information that would explain these "stops". Anyhow Milwaukee has a law that you must be 16 or older to walk a Rott or a Pit and cannot be slight of stature. The third time I was stopped I asked if the comment was directed towards my age or my stature (my dog is almost equal my weight). The officer said both! I showed him my DL prooving I was 30! And I then picked up my dog and carried him off yelling over my shoulder: if I can carry this dog I certainly can control him!

If there is no such law I would print off the proof showing that there isn't a law as such and show it to the lady that stopped you.
