Okay so what? They're Pit Bulls, this wasn't preventable or an accident right? Pit Bulls by nature will attack other dogs if it is on their gene pool. Game bred dogs will attack things smaller than them, it's called prey drive. And I bet that dog went hiding under that womans covers and thats why she got attacked.
Also dragging that fact that they might be used for dog fighting makes me ill. True dog fighting dogs are NOT HA! They will certainly attack another dog and kill it, but they wouldn't attack a human.
