many pups, especially with thinner ear cartrilege, between 3-5 months go thru this.
especially goes along with teething.
what we do to avoid permanent creasing, we tape them a few days at a time until this phase goes thru.(usually a few weeks, on and off).
it works best in dogs under 5 months.
i use kendall waterpruf tape 1". i do what i refer to as the upsidedown bucket head.
i start on the inside of one ear, bottom chin strap to the other inside ear, and then the reverse by the outside flap.
if your breeder has experience or you know a handler or vet who has done them, they can show you how.there are a few methods.

by the way, it is not detrimental to the pup to have a creased ear. it's just cosmetical. more of a thing if you are showing the dog.
