When I first got my puppy, like you, I was up all hours of the night taking her to pee. Seriously, I took her out every 2 hours on the dot. I thought I was going to keel over and die from the lack of sleep.
Then, after about a week of that, I just said, "Screw it." I set my alarm for 6am and went to sleep. She whined a little, but I ignored her. When I woke up at 6am, I was surprised to find a completely dry crate.
Let's just say that was the end of MY night shift.
I say let her stay in there one night for a good 6 hour stretch and see how she does. I bet she'll be fine.
