Static used to get hiccups after every drink, meal, sleep ... pretty much every event! We were worried as well, so brought it up with the vet - and as everyone has said, its perfectly normal.
he has just passed his 8 month birthday (yay!) and he hasn't had them for a while now ... so they will pass. Good luck with your puppy
