I have thought about this as my SO is in thge military and we will likely move in the next few years.

I like a vet that isn't too pusy with the drugs, believes in holisitic medicine (complimentary therapies) and most of all gets down on the floor, doesn't ming dog hair or wet slobbery kisses. I also need a vet that has some experience with sport dogs. I know here that there's the regular vets and then "the vet" who actually has a masters in zoology in addition to his DVM who seems to be a little more on top of things. At the clinic where he works, sport people go to this guy and the rest the other guy...you wouldn't know the difference if nobody told you until you actually got there.

When we move, my plan is to get in touch with a flyball or agility club before hand and once I have met some people, ask aound about who they use and how the vet is - especially with larget dogs.
