As a trainer-I do like watching his show-be remember, it is a TV show-so they never tell or show the whole story. I also agree with some of his ideas-that dogs should be treated like dogs, not children in a fur suit, excersize is very important, etc.
Also, if you do more research on Ceaser-you'll see that that the dogs he works with on his show are often last hope cases. Meaning he is the last resort before the dog is euthanized.
But for a baby puppy, he methods are pretty extreme-I would take everything you see with a grain of salt and work on getting your puppy out and socializing as much as you can, attend puppy kindergarden. But remeber-have fun!! They grow so quick that you forget how much fun it is to teach and watch a baby puppy learn.
