As far as I know, the reaction can be very unpredictable and not always dosage-related: small dogs have eaten large amounts and been fine, large dogs have eaten small amounts and become very sick or died, other dogs have been eating them for years and had no trouble. None for my dogs, no matter what size they are, not worth the risk and there are so many other treats available.
