I think he ment up too far. On both of my dogs the tan markings end about half way up on the inside of the leg. On his puppy's picute it goes practically to the elbow. This is from the standard: on forelegs from carpus downward to the toes. If it is too far up I wouln't worry about it, it is such a minor fault.
