| Re: Correct coloring of front legs? I think that you are over functioning on this. Your question doesn't seem to make any sense to me. But I will try to answer what I think your question is based on my three show quality rottweilers that are in my house.
Front legs. I would actually describe their front legs as being all "tan" (easier word to spell), with black covering the front part of the leg and tappering down until the top of the "wrist". The inside and back of the front legs are tan from the paws up until almost to the elbow. The distance of the tan up to the elbow varies somewhat on my three dogs. One is an inch below the elbow and the other two are about three inches below the inside elbow.
The tan on the paws should be free of black hairs except for "pencil" markings at each nail. Black hairs on top of the paws are called, "sooty" or "muddy" paws and is a fault.
Color of the "tan" is somewhat important. The darker/redder color is preferred over actual tan. Straw colored or light markings are a fault.
I really think that you are making a mountain out of a mole hill as I haven't encountered anyone being all that hung up on the leg markings. I would say if your dog looks like a rottweiler then you are fine.
