I ran across a German on my walk and when he saw my pup he asked me if I knew where Rottweilers came from. I replied no, and he went on to tell me that they derived from a city here in Germany called Rottweiler and that the dogs were used to bring down male bulls due their great strength. I was shocked to hear that. |
