You aren't going to be shunned because the pup is a mix. We have shared "Nottweilers" here too (dogs with NO Rottie in them)!
I really hope those of you who have the pups can get together and share in raising them, taking turns keeping them as a group as someone suggested. Once a week won't make up for what they are all losing thanks to their irresponsible "breeders".
