Next weekend our coffee shop is hosting a meet and greet for our city's new animal shelter director. The Mayor and city government have publicly stated their desire to fund and support several fantastic changes in the Animal Control policies. Spay and neuter and public education about pet ownership and responsibility are at the top of their agenda. There are many changes being made to our humane society and shelter such as public days out and foster programs for shelter animals.
There will be a table with educational literature. May I print out your editorial to be included Elisabeth? |
