Speak of the devil, Shelby wounded an opossum last night - it was a pretty big one, we weren't sure what it was since it was dark out so we came back (with shelby on leash) with a flashlight to check it out - sure enough, it was lying there, probably frozen from shock. It wasn't there this morning when i left so i assumed it was just wounded or scared and scampered off. I didn't witness Shelby with it in her mouth but my boyfriend did - she was FREAKING out like she was ready to rip it to shreds, thankfully she was on a leash and couldn't get to it a second time. |
