Most of my cats didn't get along with dogs. One liked only our original dog, a smaller all-American, and our largest male Rottie. All are now at the Bridge hopefully still getting along :)
My youngest current cat Oliver, almost a year old, thinks he IS a Rottweiler; I just posted a gallery picture of him napping with his new baby Rottie brother Axe.

Back on topic: I've seen a few stories lately like the one posted with a momma's love coming from a different species. Very heartwarming to say the least!
