I am a bit cynical. I have had vets diagnose my dogs with serious problems, including two intact males with hip dysplasia. My dogs later received passing ratings from OFA (Othopedic Foundation for Animals). I have learned to not panic(at least not too much) and to get a second opinion from the best specialist I can find. So far, none of my dogs have actually had the issues that the first vet said that they had.
Is your dog showing signs of pain or other difficulties?
