just turning 12 months and still being relatively a newbie, i would stick to 12-18 months for now so she can be compared to dogs in her age bracket and developement.
actually, after 6 mos, you can enter novice(if offered, and never won before a class-but this class is hardly ever used),bred-by(if you are breeder and owner of record),am-bred(born in the usa), open, anyone over 6 mos regardless where born,but usually competition is the stiffest(usually fully matured adults are there) or you can do what most of us in our breed do, enter the appropriate age class(6-9,9-12,12-18), until ready to move up to am bred or open.
