Talking Bo is home but not happy with crate

Bo is home and we are so very happy to have him. He almost jumped out of the tech's arms when we went to pick him up

The reason why I'm writing this is because I had posted before about how Bo was training me to only be in his crate if I was in the room. When we got home we let him resmell the entire house and then went to put him in his crate (doc said quiet time for Bo as much as possible) and he freaked out! As soon as I shut the door on his crate he started jumping (hitting his head on the top of the crate) barking, and doing complete circles. I didn't let him out but I have no idea what that was about? Maybe because I washed it in bleach and all of his toys are new so everything smells different? I'm at a loss I have no idea what to do

I edited this to add that Bo seems confused as to going potty now. He goes to the backdoor which is where we've always taken him but the vet said for now to take him out front (all rocks no dirt) and he seems confused and takes him a long time to go. I'm guessing this will work itself out with time and treats.
