Thank you, your thoughts are a great comfort

I want to thank everyone for the kind words (and especially to Kathy who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we are OK). It sure is tough, and we've cried a river, but we will get through this. It's just so hard to still smell her smell on the blankets, and her favorite spot to sit on "her" couch.

I think i'm at the anger stage now....wondering how such a beautiful creature had to be dealt such an awful sentence.

We have been burning a candle with her picture next to it...it brings me comfort to touch it and think of her. I can't wait until her remains are home and I can touch her again. :)

C-Zar, our other Rott, is having an extremely hard time with it. He will not let us out of his sight and he sits on the back porch looking out to the yard where Sheba had dug her own little nesting spot. It's so hard to comfort them when they don't understand what's going on. :(

Again, we want to thank everyone for the kind words and thoughts. :)

xoxo Amy
