 Cold, snow and puppy paws
I have a question about my six and a half month old pup Ben. Woke up this morning with 4 inches of snow and it is -5 c ( 26 F ), and I am worried about the sensitivity too his paws being a pup. I believe that I have heard that introducing his paws too cold, and snow should be done gradually. Is this so and is it cold enough right now to worry about it. Also if so how long is long enough each day to be outside to toughen up his paws?
Just for your info we walk an hour a day and play for several hours in the yard as well. |
