I KNOW some rotties can jump a SIX foot fence. Some dogs are more determined then others. I KNOW mine can jump a 4ft.

What value? Are you planning on showing, breeding, or the value of not having to buy a security system? I mean no offence but I wonder about the "value" of a dog. The value of my dog is sentimental because I love her.
Not all rotties are protective, they are working breed that come from hearding, they also guarded but not so much the people as their terriory and the animals/heard within that area. You may find a dog who doesn't want a person on their property, but once the intruder is inside the house (unless it is an inside dog) the dog couldn't care less.
