Re: Why the Rottweiler is NOT for everyone

May I also add, that I am in complete agreement....It's time to write a book!

I do not believe in "accidents"...so when Roman came into my life, God had a purpose in mind! Many a time, the 1st few month's he came home, I would say "I miss my Pittbulls"!!!lol
Roman is strong willed, tested me daily, etc. Everything you would expect an 11 month old Rotty to do! And I now realize that God's intention's were to get ME on track!lol It wasn't Roman who needed training, but it was ME who needed to do the work to understand him and get off my butt and do what it takes to make sure he was happy, secure, trained, etc. At times that meant taking pain meds before a walk and after!lololol

Now that I have Layna & Roman, my life seems complete! They compliment each other AND me! We are a team....Me at the wheel of course, but once you realize the work involved, buckle in and set your course.....It's so worth it! I still look at them at times and say "Man...it would have been so much easier if God would have given me a Pittbull!"hahahaa

Do your research and hire a trainer is the best advice in the world!!!!
