With my girl (Cinders) its all about pleasing her. Make yourself more interesting than what shes doing. Squeaky toys work with her, but only get pulled out in emergencies. When at the park, I call her to come, then treat her, release her, and do this regularly, this way she doesn't know when its time to leave. i also touch her collar as I treat her. With toys/dumbell she would run away and avoid me, so I backed up, and showed no interest, so she started to push them into my hand, now she sits and presents beautifully. |
