| when to dock newborn's tails?
i found a litter of rott pup's who had their tails docked at five days old. my vet says they will do them up to three days old, beyond that, it is amputation, and longterm problems could be nerve damage. also, the mother of these pups had some sort of hormone problem...so at the advice of the owners vet she was told to: 'go ahead and breed her, that will get it out of her'. any feedback on either of these issues, please. |
