Posting this for Becky Giddings (hcelsa here on the forums.) It is an honor for me to share my life with Elsa's grand-daughter, Blitz.

Becky wanted everyone to know, but has also said she's not ready to talk to anyone about this huge loss just yet.

Our beloved Elsa finished her work here on earth yesterday and left to take care of the flocks and herds in a better place. I'm not sure exactly how we'll manage without her, but for now we'll rely on her children and grandchildren to help us see the sunshine after the rain.

Elsa was a Herding Demo Dog, Dog Safety Demo Dog (elementary kids), and Dog Bite Prevention Demo Dog (mail carriers)

But most of all she is our very best friend, and a HUGE presence in our lives that will be sorely missed (the house feels so empty without her here filling it up with her "Elsaness"). Elsa taught us so much about love, laughter, loyalty, humor, integrity, devotion, dedication, honor, work ethic, and so much more. She was always unflappable, always ready to get the job done with a big smile on her face and a bounce in her step regardless of how hard or trivial it might have seemed, and always an wonderful example of what a Rottweiler should be.

We'll miss you so much Boo-dog--you left huge pawprints on our hearts.
