I believe there is a test to determine if a dog is a carrier for parvo....when we adopted our senior lab, her litter had just been PTS with parvo and the owner had dumped Kenya in the shelter, thinking she had been a carrier for the disease. I was told that Cornell had tested her and she was not a carrier. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can chime in. I am so sorry about the one pup...hopefully his sibling will remain healthy. |
