missrock, i am very sorry about your dog.
it is very common to sense the presence of our dogs after they pass away. i remember so well how i woke up totally elated one morning, about a week after my bismarck died (he was my first rottie, 1984-1992). i had dreamt about him, and it seemed so real, i was convinced he was right there. the letdown from a dream like that is huge.
i also found myself "looking" for him for months afterwards.
it does get better though, in time. |
