We have had State Farm for YEARS and owned Rottweilers, pit bulls and boxers - NEVER a problem - they view each reported bite individually - with no breed specific language at all. I agree with notifying them of the dog. Your friend should NOT hear there is a problem at all! Tell her to thank her agent for working for a company that doesn't breed discriminate!
