Wow - you do sound like Pink Floyd!
I'm glad that I stumbled across this website because I would've been lost w/out it. Today, I woke up with a new attitude. I miss her dearly but I know that life goes on and I will be able to love again. I've reached a compromise w/the girls in regards to getting another pet. We all agreed that now is not the time and that we would wait until Oct/Nov. They want another dog, not just any dog, a wottweiler, as my 5 year old puts it. She just loved Zoey's ears - so did I.
