This is a bad thing?
I wouldn't mind a quiet dog. Serena barks rarely or she does the whisper bark. Unless I'm mistaken Rotts are not very loud. Not to say they don't bark, just the two I have owned have been relatively quiet. Have the vet check to make sure there isn't a problem.
