I had to come back to this post because the first two times I read it, I started crying. I am so sorry for your loss. The pain is hard, the feeling of loss sometimes feels unbearable. You have come to the right place because all of us here can understand your feelings and what you are going through. The bond we have with our dogs is so strong that when losing them, it's like losing a family member. They give us unconditional love and are there for us during all of our hard times. Please take the time and grieve - and all the crying you are doing is OK. I cried for weeks after losing Talon. I still cry. But what better way can we show our devotion and love for them, if we don't let ourselves grieve the loss.
