| Re: Messages from 'beyond'? My grandmother always said if you find coins on the ground, it means someone in heaven is thinking of you. When I came out of the vet's office after my first rottie Sierra was PTS, there was a quarter lying on the ground right in front of my car door. It had not been there when I went in. When I got home and got out of the car, there was a dime and some pennies on the ground where I got out. Now this was strange, because I don't carry change. For about a week, almost every time I got out of my car or went to get into my car, there would be a coin or two or three on the ground by my car door. I like to think that it was Sierra's way of saying goodbye.
After my beloved Jazz was PTS in March, as I came home and opened the door, I distinctly heard the sound of his tags jingling on his collar. In the past he would get up and shake himself when I opened the door, so I would always hear the sound of his tags jingling when I came in the door. I still hear the sound occaisionally and sometimes see movement out of the corner of my eye, so I know he is keeping watch over me.
