Rottweilers do NOT need to be muzzled in the UK. Unfortunately a lot of people say things without really knowing what they are talking about
. Do a search for the Dangerous Dogs Act (1991, amended 1997) - only 'types' of dogs that are prohibited (or if already owned required to be muzzled, neutered, tattooed, microchipped etc.) are Pit Bull Terrier , Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino and Fila Brasileiro.
