No, muzzles are not law in the uk, but you must have a name tag when your dog is out of the house. Where i live there are literally hundreds of staffys that are not friendly at all to dogs which is why i dont like the idea of walking my dog with a muzzle. If she were to get attacked by a unsocialized staff id like my dog to have a fighting chance to protect herself. Sometimes ive found that certain vets like to see my rotts with muzzles, but i guess thats down to there previous experiences with many big dogs. |
