Being "nice" does not mean she has the best interests of the puppies (or you) at heart. It just means that she did her best to get rid of two puppies to one person. The fact that they were priced the way they were means that she was/is probably a back yard breeder with no thought to temperament, pedigree, health issues or the fact that she sold littermates to one person. Did she provide you with the health certifications for both parents (hips, hearts, eyes, elbows)? Did you see the sire and dam? Did you purchase the puppies on a contract with guarantees? Did she talk to you about crate training, obedience classes and socialization and the correct way to bring up two siblings?

Please read up on the problems associated with having two pups of the same age. You are a novice owner and could be in for some huge problems down the road as these pups mature and start thinking for themselves.

Are they both boys? Both girls? Or one of each?
