They sure pick up on things....I know that if Toby and I were walking and I put my hand on his collar, or clipped on his leash, he would immediately go into "defensive" mode....he knew full well that there was something up ahead that I didn't want him to mess with...he'd get all stiff and lift his head to see what I was trying so hard to avoid.
They are so clever and in tune with us.
