| Re: Ethical Issue: Cancer Treatment Decisions Sadly, I came to this site through internet research after my boy, Koda, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. My first Rottie and my retired K9 partner. I have had other dogs go to the rainbow bridge and are waiting for me there. Maybe it is the harsh nature of the disease (my first dog to be diagnosed with cancer) or the bond we have shared, but it is tough. Boy it is hard to imagine how much he would change many people's ideas of Rotties and so completely enter our hearts. What a terrific and magnificent breed!!!
It is tremendsouly helpful to come here and see we are not alone going through this aweful experience. It has helped me understand what to expect and face some very difficult decisions. We have decided to make his remaining time with us as painfree as possible as long as he can reasonably enjoy life.
Thanks to all of you for sharing the info. |
