Normally she is a big baby and outside of my room she absolutly loves everyone. She doesn't even growl at new people comming in the house. She is more likely to bring them her ball than growl at people she has never met before.
I should mention this growling has gotten worse since she has been on a diet. She is only getting a certain amount of food each day.
The only thing I have tried is having my girls hand feed her the food to see if she associated them with getting food if this would help. I does not seemed to. |
***I forgot to add that I recently took her off of prednisone (for extreme allergies, we are trying tavist instead) I know that this can cause some behaviorial issues and weight issues. Mabye this has something to do with it.
But I do repremand her verbally for the growling but still does not seem to help. After reading this forum I have decided to try having small doggie treats by my door and anytime anyone but me goes in to have them give her a small treat. Mabye this will help.
