Start simple. Wash effected area with soap and water, rinse and dry well. See if that clears it up. Could just be a simple sweat rash (same source as chafing I guess). You can put some powder on it to keep it drier (like diaper rash). The rash is on the groin area because they clean themselves and the area can remain moist afterwards. If that does not clear it up then start to suspect bites, allergies or other causes.
I am assuming you are descibing many very tiny red dot type bumps, not fewer larger dark pink or red domed bumps. If it is domed bumps I would suspect a mast cell reaction and would consult the vet. |
