Lola has had diarrhea on and off since the day we got her. She had an allergic reaction from the Giardia medication. The only time she has not had diarrhea was when she went into heat and for a month after. The vet said she has a bacterial overgrowth that is hormone related. When she gets spayed, he feel that the diarrhea will stop. Has your girl been spayed? Also, he had her on tylosin 200 mil.once a day. Tylosin is used to control bacterial overgrowth in large animals but, dogs seem to tolerate it well. She lives on chicken and rice and when I stop cooking for her, she goes back to bad stomach.
