| If your wagon has 4 wheels, you don't have much to worry about. If it has 2, the weight must be centered entirely over the 2 wheels. I've got a 2 wheel homemade cart that is quite heavy. It has a steel frame with an oak and pine box. The two wheels are 20 inch bicycle wheels. It is so well balanced though, that even fully loaded, the shafts can be lifted with one finger. Of course I'm careful to place the weight over the wheels. The most important thing to consider is that the dog has no weight pressing down on its back. They can pull a tremendous amount of weight with big wheels as long as the trek is not too steep.
