Hello, Sorry for your loss, I too lost my Rotty of 13 yrs. last year. In the coarse of looking for my new dog I looked at shows, mags, and internet. I wanted a German bred dog because of the strict breeding rules the ADRK has in place. But I did not want a dog with a tail, so I almost settled for a dog from 2 AKC ch's. that was near my location. But as time went on I still kept looking and was able to find a breeder in the USA that was using imported German stock and docked tails. I also had a favorite dog I wanted in my pup's pedigree his name is "Balou" and he is my new pups G-dad. I am so happy with my new dog and that I did not settle. So I just hope you take your time and get what YOU want. I wish I could help you more with some breeder referals but this site is very strict about that. I can tell you that in the last year I have seen 3 different litters all in the USA that used Bronko as stud, so you don't have to go oversea's to get one of his pups. He is very nice looking, and a popular stud. If a pup from him is what you want just keep looking, and if you are not concerned about tails you could import one from Europe too. Also don't worry about having him shipped by plane I was at first, but I ended up having to fly my dog in from across the country and it all went smoothly. Good luck with your search!
