I used about a tsp. of garlic on my collie's food 15 years ago when we lived in Germany. The ticks over there were awful and everywhere, but the garlic kept them away.
Chase got a can of mackeral once a week instead of chicken when she was eating raw. I think it was her favorite meal of the week!
