Now that's four of us who've stressed the importance of training, training, training, because the bottom line is no matter why Sadie behaves the way she does, she must be trained to obey the person on the other end of the leash and not lunge at, bark at, growl at or in any other way antagonize other dogs. Those other owners and dogs have the right to a peaceful walk without fear of attack. Working on the underlying cause of this behavior may help in the overall scheme of things, but training and control are first and foremost.
