Terrific! I've begun the muzzle/collar routine whenever pup has a tantrum. THANKFULLY, the "temper tantrums" are occurring just a little less, whether because of reinforcement or because she's slowly outgrowing the habit. (Or maybe both.) A nice side effect is that whenever I take her by the collar, she sits automatically and becomes very calm. I'm thinking, since she has not yet learned to sit and heel correctly, I may teach her, in additional to spoken commands, the unspoken rule: "If collar is grabbed, stop and sit." Redirection works wonderfully, too. I'm working on teaching her that frustation play should be done on "rag" not "friend".
