moose is a big dog so i had his thyroid checked. it came back normal. he is about 18 months and 130 lbs. i exercise him regularly and do not overfeed him at all. i am trying to have him lose weight but its not easy. he wont go near the treadmill, or near my garage now. i take him for walks and let him run off lead often for about an hour or so. sometimes 3 times a day if i can. i think some of the problem was the kibble he ate. so i switched him to the barf diet which he loves. i think thats helped some.he has kept this weight for a few months. he lost about 5 lbs so far. |
