| Puppy cold
I took my six month old to the vet today because he's been coughing somehting awful and my friends dog who my pup is always around was doing the same thing a few days ago and her vet said it was upper respiratory infection and she was given antibiotics, but the vet i took my dog to said it was basically just a cold and she didn't want to give him meds right away. So she sent me away w/ just a cough medicine and said it would go away on it's own. She did say if it didn't improve within a few days she would fill out a antibiotic prescription for me. Anyone else had an experience like this where the coughing just went away? I'm only concerned because this is not my usual vet. My regular vet is the same one my friend goes to where it was determined to be a upper respiratory and he was given a weeks worth of antibiotics. |
